Snorkeling Schwarzbier
German-Style Black Lager With Roasted Malt Flavors and Reminscent of Coffee and Toast
Malt forward, balanced, coffee/toast/caramel
We brewed a Schwarzbier, what may be the oldest continuously brewed beer style in the world. It literally means “black beer” in German. Brewed with all German grains and hops, this black lager balances smooth roasted malt flavors with moderate hop bitterness. Each sip will remind you of drinking a pilsner but with notes of coffee and toast, and hints of caramel. We dare you to enjoy a couple and then say “Snorkeling Schwarzbier” five times fast!
Best for:
Rich, robust, and a little rugged – this black lager’s ingredients fit the bill for everythign that’s bold about beer! Belly up!
