Hooyah Deep Sea! IPA
For this India Pale Ale, we brewed with one malt – American 2-row barley – and one hop – Veterans Blend. Pale yellow in color, this beer showcases crisp, clean malt flavors and approachable hop nuances. This beer is smooth with a clean yet assertive hop bitterness on the finish and honors the contributions and sacrifices of our Nation’s veterans!

Yakima Chief blended five Pacific Northwest-grown hop varieties, including HBC 586, Ekuanot®, Idaho 7®, Chinook and Triumph, that were hand-selected by a group of veteran-owned breweries from across the U.S., representing multiple branches of the US Armed Forces, into one hop pellet, and the result is a hop that is tropical, citrusy and woody, with sweet aromatics.
2021 - Hop forward, balanced, citrus/stone fruit/berry/bubblegum
Yakima Chief blended five Pacific Northwest-grown hop varieties, including Idaho 7®, HBC 630, Ekuanot®, Azacca® and HBC 472, that were hand-selected by a group of veteran-owned breweries from across the U.S., representing multiple branches of the US Armed Forces, into one hop pellet, and the result is a hop that is citrusy, fruity and tropical.

2018 - Hop forward, balanced, tropical/citrus/herbal
Yakima Chief blended five Pacific Northwest-grown hop varieties hand-selected by a group of veteran-owned breweries from across the U.S., representing multiple branches of the US Armed Forces, including Ekuanot®, Cashmere, Simcoe®, Mosaic® and Centennial into one hop pellet and the result is a hop that is tropical, citrus and herbal. Centennial was especially chosen as this is the 100-year anniversary of the end of WWI and the first Armistice Day, which eventually became Veterans Day.
