Malt forward, balanced, malt/honey

Das Boot is our non-traditional take on the classic German Oktoberfest Märzen-style lager. We fermented Das Boot with an English ale yeast to provide additional complexity and increase the malt character. Copper colored and loaded with Vienna and Munich malts from Germany, this beer is laden with complex malt flavors but finishes remarkably dry, with a hint of barley and honey. Velvety and smooth!
