Malt forward, earthy, sweet/tart, blueberry/rhubarb

For our eleventh experimental blonde ale, we kept the grain bill simple and the hop additions to a minimum to complement the ½ barrel each of blueberry and rhubarb puree added to this brew during fermentation. The malt and fruit characteristics of this brew really shine through on the palate, and clean aromas of blueberry and rhubarb are also present. Crisp and refreshing, a pint of Blu Barpoon is a great beer to enjoy during the changing of the seasons!

Late summer, early fall picnics, a post-hike brew, or pairing with your favorite berry pie, naturally.
